It would be like seeing Taylor Swift cutting cigarette ads. A lot of my male students are already sports betting since the state legalized it online. Currently our centre left government is trying to ban gambling ads with 70% approval from the public but are too afraid the commercial media will sink them if they cut off their precious ad revenue

 

The worst is how normalized it is now. Like, I get that the state lotteries sponsor things and are harmful, but sports betting really is something else because of how addictive and life-ruining it can be very quickly and yet network TV now talks about betting odds and podcasts are flush with dumb ads for stuff like Draftkings.

As a morning beverage that’s hot and caffeinated, no way; I easily prefer coffee to tea.

A cup of, like, ginger tea on a cool evening rules, though. Serves a very different purpose for me than coffee.

 

I’m more of a coffee person but I do love a good smokey tea like lapsang souchong or Russian caravan. Also a big fan of genmaicha.
