This. If there's nothing else or if some reason I'm not in the mood for anything at a restaurant, I'll take water, but I prefer something else. Don't see why I should consume something I'm not into to fit some weird category of "normalcy" nor what it has to do with quote unquote growing up.
The ideal drink at a restaurant is a Coke. Maybe I am just addicted but eating food with water to drink just feels depressing and empty.
Also, society mostly disagrees with me but I would rather have a big lunch and a light dinner than a light lunch and a big dinner.
I've actually come to agree with this, because I feel like eating the heaviest meal in the evening means it's weighing on me overnight. I could be wrong about that though.
The difference in taste between tap water and bottled/filtered water on it's own isn't that high, but the difference in quality of taste between coffee made with tap water and coffee made with bottled/filtered water is insane.
That is part of why I prefer a bigger lunch. If I eat a lot at night or eat late it really disrupts my sleeping pattern.
this is 100% true and lemons are usually very dirty as the servers are touching them with unwashed hands.
I don't want any flavor in my water. The wisp of flavor in a seltzer just makes me wish it was a real sugary drink.
This thread be like "Jelly on toast??? Pfttt toast tastes fine on it's own. I always eat toast dry. Grow up"
