There are a handful of restaurants in my city that vary in quality based on the time of day. Some are always great, on time, no issues but only between 11-3 pm. Anything outside of that time frame and it’s absolute shit.
What I'm hearing is employees work their best after a good night's sleep and/or when they have plenty of free time to live after their shift.
There is a local pizza place where the pizza is best when the owner isn't cooking. He has random hours and sometimes he gets obsessed with a soccer match on TV in their dining room, so it is always a gamble what is going to happen. Also, KFC is delicious when they first open. Anything else is dried out.
