Ooh your work is so fancy! I always am mystified by the people carrying around those gigantic jugs of water that have the measurements of like a full days recommended intake of water and they're massive. It doesn't impact me so I don't care that much. It is probably nice if they are not in a place where they can constantly refill their water bottle, but that seems so inconvenient to lug around
I'm very weird about water bottles and will absolutely not drink out of ones like this, I’ll only use water bottles with a completely twist off cap.
I need a straw or at the least one of those lil twist up nubs for the gym. Last time I tried to drink some water while doing a light jog and used a twist off cap it was harder to drink so I swallowed wrong and started coughing and it was v embarrassing. I need all the assistance I can get.
The best feeling is sucking the water bottle so hard that the plastic starts to contract and make noises. It lets people know who you are.
The worst feeling is sucking the water bottle while walking, stumbling, and hard plastic straw almost knocks your teeth out.
When I do use water bottles like Poland springs, I tend to just have one for the day and refill it over and over so I always keep them in good shape My pet peeve though is when someone throws a bottle away without crushing it first. Such a waste of space in the trash/recycling!
I keep my plastic water bottles, re-fill them, put in flavoring liquid, put them in the freezer for awhile, and make slushes.
Before furiosa today I had 15 mins of normal commercials and then like 20 mins of trailers. I barely have time to go to the movies as it is and adding at least a half hour to the runtime is inconvenient and makes me hate going. so I guess my unpopular entertainment opinion is that for me, it’s a better experience at home despite inferior technology
Theaters should start all those pre-trailer bullshit promos so that they end at the scheduled start time then dim the lights for the trailers at the start time. I walked in 15 minutes after the scheduled start time for Furiosa last night and still had to watch three more trailers, a Coke promo, and the Nicole Kidman thing
When I worked at regal 2 years back it was consistently 25 minutes. The actual trailers would sometimes be 10-15 minutes late though, so sometimes the movie would be even 40 minutes after scheduled start time!
The only upside of long unplanned random ad length is that you dont have the disruption of people walking around during the start of the movie. if the ad length was set the ad hating puntucal people will turn up right as the movie starts if the ad length was short the unpuntucal people will turn up late just after the movie has started
