I get up at 6 for work, so on my days off I'll get up like 7. That way I sleep in a little bit but it's not enough to throw me off or make me feel like I'm losing free time.
nothing interesting happens before like 11 am, almost everything interesting happens after 6 pm why should I wake up early see a sunrise, go for a run, okay nerds
When I WFH 3 days a week, I tend to go to bed at like 3, wake up at 8:45 Going to the office 2 days a week, bed at 2, wake up at 7:30 Friday/Saturday, I go to sleep between like 4 and 6 am, wake up between 12pm and 2pm
I wake up every day at about 7am because my child wakes up around 7am, I go to sleep at like midnight
I begrudgingly wake up at 7:00 for work, but I’m pretty much in zombie mode for like two hours after that until my brain turns on. It’s annoying because I’m waking up early but still wasting my day lol. Worst of both worlds. Really thought eventually I’d grow into getting up early but I am simply not built to be a morning guy
I have a naturally early circadian rhythm so it's weird if I sleep past 5:00 AM. Lately I've been waking up between 3:00 and 4:00.
I’m out of work right now and recovering from some serious health issues I had a few months ago so lately I’ve been sleeping a lot (not to mention a side effect of the medication I’m on is sedation). I’ll go to bed around 1-2 and wake up at noon. For a while when I first got out of the hospital/treatment and got on my current medications I was sleeping for 12-13 hours and even napping for a couple hours too. I worked an early job for a while and was waking up at 5:30 most days and was fine as long as I took an hour nap after work at 2-3. Really not sure if I want to go back to that though. I’m generally able to adjust to any sleep schedule but I much prefer staying up later and waking up later. My ideal sleep schedule is go to sleep at 12-1 wake up at 8-9
my honest answer is that I have two kids and I spend the evenings with them since I work during the day and they’re both at school. They go to bed around 8:30 and by then I don’t want to go out to the gym. Once I got in the habit of going in the morning I found it to be way preferable. I wake up and the house is quiet. I let my dogs out and enjoy coffee and then hit the gym.
I have sloth genes. I'll sleep 10+ hours and have 3 hour naps and my body constantly mistakes what I think should be a 10 hour session for a 3 hour session. if I have a day that starts at 8am I'll plan to go to bed at 10pm it's 50/50 I'll wake up at 1am won't be able to get back to sleep.
