I learned the other day that my mother was the only one putting the package suggested amount of sugar in Kool-Aid. Apparently people just keep going.
Oh hell yeah haha. I used to do this with the powdered iced tea a few times as a teen too. Think it would call for like 2 scoops and I’d put 5 or 6 in lmao
When I worked at a Steak N' Shake we were only supposed to put 1 or 2 squirts of the flavoring into sodas. We would make our own Cherry Sprites and put in 4 or 5. It would probably make me throw up now but it was so good then.
Making your own concoctions was always the best part of any food related job. I made some unholy things at Cold Stone and Tropical Smoothie Cafe
Absolutely love ketchup and always have, but the last few years I've started using bbq with my chicken and it's really great. I really like Bull's Eye.
Pepsi is better if you are just hanging around or at dinner, but Coca-Cola is better if you come back from a long day or you are otherwise exhausted.
Improv is funny but the cult around improv/UCB is super cringey and a lot of the funniest people are embarrassed by their time doing it.
I find it odd that more people are not omnivorous when it comes to different kinds of art. You have film people and book people and music people on here, but there are a limited number of people active across the board(s).
i actually have never purposely drank a diet or zero version of any soda, aspartame or whatever it is tastes nasty to me and i don’t have soda often enough to feel the need to drink a less bad for me soda
I used to love stand-up when I was younger and now I have no desire to watch any of it. I could probably revisit some old Carlin or Mitch Hedberg stuff but it’s just not for me. I’d probably find improv enjoyable in person but I don’t think it’s for me either.
