The fries at the bottom of the bag belong to the person paying the bill. If the bill was split, it goes to the person who picked it up or drove.

I do generally agree with this, but sometimes I get rubbed completely the wrong way, especially if I take it personally. I mean, we all do that, right?
I can’t believe we’re talking about asking for things again. The only real adult answer is, “it depends on a variety of contextual factors, you absolute dorks.” Know your boundaries, know other people’s boundaries, be chill, and I promise much of the rest will work itself out, lol.

Most did, yes. They’re also teenagers with limited experience going out to eat in a context where it would be weird
