During the first omen last Friday, literally 2 minutes into the movie, after the standard AMC “don’t talk don’t text don’t ruin the movie” thing a guy in the row in front of ours opened his phone to answer a text at full brightness. This was a small auditorium with like 36 seats but only maybe 8 or 10 people in the room and I immediately told him to put it away and he did
Idk that doesn’t seem like an unpopular opinion…talking during the trailers is probably more frowned upon
It depends. If you're looking something up, fine, but I don't want to hear someone chatting away during any part of my movie-going experience. That goes for at-home viewings too. We watching a movie or having a conversation? Cause we're not doing both.
I go to the movies like once a week and I see the same trailers repeatedly. Am I supposed to sit there like a dog waiting for my treat
Trailers are ads, I don’t care if people are on their phones during them even though I like watching them.
I talk (whisper) during trailers all the time, but only reacting to the trailer itself with my fiancée. I shut up for the movie
Brother you’re getting to the theater too early and I say that as someone that’s always anxious about being there early
