The wrench is a tool, the person asking for it needs it. If they lose it or don’t return it, that is rude. Food is a want
i think appetizers and entrees have totally different boundaries. if im on a date we're probably sharing apps and even if we're not, i'm gonna share it if they really wanna try some??? lol if they ask for half my steak or entree i'm probably giving a weird look back.
I guess that's just it. Saying no, provided you're not a dick about it, also shouldn't be rude. I just feel like there are way more important things to stress about, but that's me. Also... ...I would too. I'm literally only talking about someone asking for a bite. It's not like in cartoons when they then unhinge their jaw and eat the whole ice cream scoop.
And so we’re clear, when I say bite, I mean cut or scoop off a piece with their own utensils. This isn't an indirect kiss moment, unless you really want it to be.
I literally started my foray into this conversation offering that family members and my co-workers have asked me for a bite and I've been fine with it. And then I got told I'm a victim of a corporate society and need to put my body upon the gears and levers.
Okay, I've got another one. What's the take on letting someone use your bathroom? What's the verdict on that?
Why are you assuming I'm the one not letting people do things? I'm willing to let people eat off my plate, I'm not going to draw the line at toilets.
Penlabs like "sure you can eat my food but jokes on you asshole you cant shit it out!!!!" villain stuff
