With the Fast movies, it isn't really that cynical. Diesel is too optimistic for that.

 

Yeah I'm being cynical. Unintentional or not the movies promote consumerism and the money generated by the diverse cast goes into universals pockets.

You let the worst one keep you from arguably the best one (Casino Royale) that came next.

 

I was 11! I'm gonna try and go through them all this summer, or at least when I finish working through the Coen Brothers

 

Oh man, you better text me when you do. Maybe against all odds you will agree with me that Live and Let Die is the best one. Never met anyone who does yet.

 

It's a favorite of mine, but not quite number one.

 

It has a great location, multiple great villains/henchmen, Yaphet Kotto, one of the best songs, one of the most insanely beautiful Bond Girls, and a ton of dad puns. What's not to love!?!

 

Yeah it’s maybe too 5 but not number 1. I’m lower on Roger Moore though.

 

A View to a Kill is one of my favorite so that's not much better.

 

A View to a Kill would work better if Moore wasn't so visibly old at that point.

 

I saw one of the fast and furious films in theaters after taking ecstasy. would’ve been around 2011-2012 so whichever film was in theaters at that time. great experience.

Fast Five is the masterpiece but most range from good to great. Only a couple stinkers

Still can't believe they refused to use the tagline "Fast X your seatbelts". And that's why that franchise will always be second rate.

 

That last Fast sequel was a 5/10 at best
