Better Caul Saul is good? I just assumed the whole thing was like the Star Wars prequels with Breaking Bad characters showing up for cameos every episode.
I've only seen the first season but it was pretty good. I'm watching three currently airing dramas, Peaky Blinders would be my pick, Better Call Saul is the only one I've seen enough to speak on. Fargo too, if that counts.
Peaky Blinders and BCS are both good shows but I don't think either are that great. I'm not really in love with anything on tv right now though. Horrace and Pete was incredible last year though.
My usual TV routine is wait until people bombard me with praise for something and right now a lot of the best reviewed shows are still fairly new. Later this year/next year I imagine I'll start watching a lot more.
i didnt find peaky blinders to be particuarly bad..its just that halfway through season 2 i just lost interest. I remember being kinda unimpressed at how season 1 wrapped up so quickly
I agree. The end of season one was a lowpoint for me in the series. It was fairly anti-climatic but the rest of the show holds up. That event served as a means to set the rest of the show in motion. Each season does share the same abrupt ending but it isn't the same in the sense that the showdown was the big lead-up in season one.
I can't really think of any dramas I've been watching lately other than GOT. I couldn't work my way though the latest season of house of cards. Veep, Silicon Valley, Master of None, and Glow are probably the best things I've watched this year.
I've had to explain to four different people in the last week that I don't think GoT is that good. It's an interesting thing to have to justify. I've seen everything but the newest episode cause it's a show I would watch with my girlfriend, but now that I'm single, I don't really care all that much.
Check out The Leftovers. It just ended but I put it up towards the top of HBO's dramas. Fargo and Better Call Saul are also good.
I'm really interested in seeing The Leftovers. I'm surprised how much praise it gets considering Damon Lindelof is involved. Usually anything he touches gets shat on.
It is everywhere and people are surprised when I say I don't watch it. It is unfortunate that it airs at the same time as Twin Peaks.
I'm never amazed by people not watching something, that's just weird. Though if someone said they hadn't HEARD of Game of Thrones I would be surprised. Though I'd still never vocalize it cause that just seems kind of dickish.
Haha idk... I'm the kind of person that would have a hard time not saying something if they told me "what's game of thrones". I've never watched an episode but come on. Unless they're under 7 or over 60 or live in the ocean
It happens all the time, but I mean watching TV shows and movies takes an active effort, I'm not going to watch Mad Men via osmosis
Good to hear. I'll have to check it out eventually. Just add that to the list haha! I still need to finish Hannibal and there are so many other shows I have yet to see.
