I watched all of Happy Endings a year or two ago, enjoyed it while I watched it, but can't remember a damn thing about it. It's completely gone from my mind. New Girl just has more staying power in my brain I guess.

 

It was memorable enough that my upload of Sinbrad got 5,700 views 11 years ago!

Jess may be annoying sometimes but I don’t think anyone on New Girl lacks charisma like what I’ve seen of Dave or Alex on Happy Endings

 

If a cop ends up being the funniest character the show really can't be that great.

As we all know Winston Bishop was a cop for the entire 7 seasons of new girl

 

It felt like a show that would've done well 5 or so years earlier. It was just SO sitcom-y

 

that's like saying a brownie is too chocolatey

to be fair half of the character's storylines are designed to make you get bonked on the head
