I've never seen a carpet elf in the wild and I'm very curious where that name came from

There was an elf in the car park, they were wearing 2 different colored stocking, red and green. Mum could not take her eyes off this distracting elf and tripped on a wheel stop.

People who don't like Friends are just trying to be contrarion to what is popular

I get liking Friends if you grew up watching it, but I can’t imagine watching it now for the first time and thinking it’s anything special. Seinfeld has aged 100x better.

*to be fair I was just thing to make my argument as unpopular as possible

I'll be honest, I never got the hype for Seinfeld.

Now *that’s* what you should have led with if you wanted to make your argument as unpopular as possible lol

Fresh Prince is better than Seinfeld by a mile

In terms of older sitcoms, I would take Malcom and The Middle, King Of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, Yes Dear, Home Improvement, Friends, Fresh Prince, and Boy Meets World all over Seinfeld

    thank u, next Supporter

I never properly watched it until roughly five years ago, approaching 30, and liked it.

(Granted, I was watching it with one of my best friends ever, so a version of your argument still holds true.)

Both Friends and Seinfeld have things that didn't age well imo

    hate my favorite band

While I love both Seinfeld and Friends and can accept if people don’t like them, I have trouble accepting someone saying King of Queens is better than anything. I hate that show so much lol

I also didn't watch it until later and thought it was basically fine and occasionally great, but I spent a lot of it thinking "I guess you had to be there at the time"

Boy Meets World is A+ until they made Eric go nuts and then of course Girl Meets World

Seinfeld has had the only good reunion among those. The Curb ep was the perfect way to reunite them. The Fresh Prince and Friends ones reeked of too many cooks in the kitchen.
