Spider-Man 4 could have been good if done right. The main problem with both SM3 & ASM2 is they tried to fit too much into them. Not to mention ASM2 ending on a cliffhanger.
haha Mystery Men has its moments but i think its notoriety and popularity is warranted to where it is. It's just not funny enough in the end.
I pretty much feel the opposite. Hated almost everything about Skyrim but loved Fallout 3. Then again though I don't like any of the other Fallout games (I haven't played Fallout 4 though).
I liked Oblivion a lot but couldn't get more than a couple of hours into Skyrim or Fallout 3/4. I really like the intro's to both Fallout games though, especially 3, I just get bored quick in the wasteland.
Honestly I think it's the environment in Fallout that kills it for me. Like I know it's supposed to be a post-apocalyptic wasteland but that's so boringggg. I love the diversity in environments in Elder Scrolls.
I totally get that. Although I really enjoyed Fallout 3's quests, story, & atmosphere the world itself wasn't particularly amazing to explore, though it was fitting for the post-apocalyptic theme I suppose.
Neither film, especially Boyhood, has those sort of big declarative emotional moments, so if you don't get completely immersed in the characters and their journies it could be tough to feel that connection
The fourth Indiana Jones is roughly equal to the rest, although overall it is a series people allow their imagination to run with due to nostalgia.
Orange Is The New Black should have been a movie, there are too many characters, full diclosure I stopped watching halfway through season 2
It's really not a good show. I stopped mid season 2 as well and the only reason I even got that far was because my girlfriend at the time was into it. The lead character is deplorable.
I watched it exactly how I watched House of Cards. Binged to halfway through season 2 and lost all interest
I watched some of OITB with my girlfriend over the weekend and was sorta baffled at how many stories were going on, seemed like a mess (first time watching but she's seen all of it)
It is misplaced nostalgia and a result of being more critical as an adult. The same people who complained about how unrealistic it was for the main character to survive a nuclear blast in a fridge love a movie where demons come out of an ark and make people explode.
The scene with the plane and raft in Temple of Doom is super over the top too. I agree that nostalgia plays a huge part in loving the first three and hating the 4th one. I always thought it was fine adventure movie, and if it had a different title than Indiana Jones it might have sat better with people.
