Hot damn. That's nice. We have local theaters where you can order food and signature desserts based off the movies in the theaters and bring them to your table like a restaurant, but nothing like ordering over a phone which would make it SO much easier.
Not that I think any big theater chain will learn anything positive from the success of Barbenheimer, but I really hope they use the money generated to put it back into their cinemas. Our local AMC was great like a decade ago when they installed Dolby and Prime. Now, the seats are all torn up, they barely turn the air conditioning on (even in non-"Sound of Freedom" theaters) and have been playing the same pre-rolls since COVID. It makes it a very joyless experience for a place where they make movies better.
Heh I always thought that was pretty cool as a kid. Probably haven't gone to one in 15+ years. I think I saw LOTR Return of the King and The Simpsons movie there.
Oh damn, me too! That's so funny. I haven't thought about Chunkys in so long. Where I was when I was a kid they used to have like old seats from cars as their chairs. I don't know if they still do that.
All of our theaters are pretty new or refurbished. One of the benefits of living in a rapidly developing area.
Omg I'd die if my theater had lil foods and drinks based off the movie I'm seeing. I'm such a sucker for that kinda stuff
