Boston is great. It has the science museum that I went to a million times on field trips, Quincy market, great music venues like the one on the Seaport and TD Garden, all sorts of other museums and exhibits, tons of history and the freedom trail, duck tours, dope restaurants, etc
Yeah while I could never see living in Boston, it would be silly for me to put it on any worst list. Other than there clown stupid ass sports teams who all suck and are dumb and I hate them and they smell and Larry bird/brady/nomar can all suck it and I wish they'd all go on another 100+ year drought...sorry getting carried away City is fine. Small. Unique.
City is awful and crowded and ugly and expensive and has awful drivers and horrendous roads. It's just a mess.
I would love to visit Boston, my history nerd ass would be like "look at these sick cobblestone roads, hell yeah"
I've never really had a big opportunity to sing along to Sweet Caroline but I do get inwardly excited at the bom bom bom. It's just so cheerful.
Before today I didn't even know it was a sports song oops. Thought it was a white ppl wedding reception song
Boston so walkable, decent (though really struggling rn) public transit, and easy access to greater New England w a car - it’s good! I like to think people who actually live here hate Sweet Caroline, but honestly I’m not sure. I do though
A strong Boston accent is one of the funniest things to hear in the wild. I love going to Boston for that alone.
My girlfriends family is from New England so there’s a few of her uncles and cousins with some strong accents. Thanksgiving is the best haha.
The strong accent is even funnier when you have a family of 20 cousins plus aunts and uncles shouting over each other with no one truly listening to wtf each other is saying lol. Always fun during the holidays. I will admit I think Boston driving fucking sucks and gives me extreme anxiety. My dad has no prob with it, but I usually just park at the science museum garage since it's right off the highway and then take the T where I wanna go
Honestly you get used to it. When I started dating my wife she lived in Eastie and we’ve lived in Winthrop (where you have to drive through Eastie all the time) ever since and eventually you just adapt. Helps to be a defensive driver
