The indie theater up the street has rational sized popcorn. RIP Movies 8 in Tallahassee. $2 tickets and $8 for the largest bucket of popcorn you have ever seen.
I’ve only had Alamo when it was in KC, but their food was consistently overpriced and terrible. I remember laughing when they charged $8 for a cookie.
I always get my own candy ahead of time. Usually get a slushie. Rarely get popcorn, I wish they could just have a reasonably priced small bag, I don't want a giant tub that takes 4 people to get through. I've bought little parmesan pretzel bites a handful of times from theaters that sell them and it's a good alternative especially when I want something that feels more "substantive" than popcorn
Always a soda. Sometimes sour patch kids. I'm not a pop corn guy. I always feel so gross after eating a bag of pop corn
Like, do you cut up the pickle into chips and mix them in? I'm having difficulty picturing this lol. Sounds pretty good though
The jalapeños/pickles in popcorn thing is something I’ll probably never try, little chunks of wet fruits and vegetables in my popcorn sounds awful lol. I’ve seen pickle seasoning though and have tried it - was not the vibe
So there's like a couple different ways apparently. Ones bagged pickles and then a bag of popcorn and you kind of eat one at a time and mix it in your mouth. Another is pickle salt that you can pour on your popcorn and shake it up so it mixes in. I think there's a third one where there's like a thing the pickle goes in and you put it into the bag/bowl of popcorn.
The jalapenos don’t have to be wet though. Not sure if there’s a dry pickle option though lol (consult medical professionals if you have a dry pickle)
I like that Unpopular Entertainment Opinions just ended becoming the Controversial Food Opinion Thread.
Just buy the little kid snack pack, get yourself a tiny soda and the smallest handful of popcorn known to man
I somehow missed this post and now that I'm aware of it, it's preying on my mind. Is it just spaghetti noodles or is there sauce as well? Do you eat it out of the bag with a spoon? So many questions that demand answers.
i doubt its something LWH actually does but - i am not joking - i know of at least two people who have snuck ziplocks of spaghetti into phish concerts. also a bucket of chicken broth
some sort of inside joke i wasnt privy to, i barely know that person and saw them on the way in. but then the band played a new song with "broth" in the name so? some kinda dark magic ig
unpopular entertainment opinion: i dont want to eat spaghetti while watching a movie or seeing a concert
