I don't like Ted Lasso. It's one of the very few super acclaimed series that I really just don't care for (also don't think Schitt's Creek is that great either) Like not going to be negative about it, but i've tried multiple times and whatever appeal it has it a lot of people just escapes me..
I do really like Ted Lasso but kind of agree on Schitt's Creek. I watched the whole thing and did really enjoy it and love the characters but I also very rarely laughed out loud at at it and have no real desire to ever watch it again
My bf has never seen schitts creek aside from an episode here or there and be unknowingly set me up for a great fold in the cheese joke the other day and it was pretty exciting
I've never seen Schitt's Creek but I can't stand the sassy gifs from it that have gotten overused on the internet in the past few years fff.
Schitt's Creek is amazing, watch it and you'll see that all gifs are extremely relatable and applicable for every day situations lol
I think I watched the first 2 or 3 eps of Schitt's Creek a few years ago and didn't get into it at all
I know people say it all the time for shows but it takes take a little to get fully invested but once you do it’s so so good.
Schitts creek had me at the "no, you get murdered first for once!" Scene and then it somehow morphed into the most heartwarming show ever
Real weird posting about Barry after the Emmys on twitter. Wild how aggressive the takes are about, like, one scene from the show lol
The initial tweet is the motorcycle chase scene with someone asking how it lost to Ted Lasso. The QTs are people dunking on Barry and calling it horribly directed, which I don’t understand haha. It was a cool scene!
I watched five full seasons of Schitt’s Creek while being strung along by fans who told me it got better and that there was a turning point just around the corner. I regret every minute
I think giving a show one season at the most is good enough. If it doesn’t grab you by then, probably not for you. That said, I did watch three seasons of “13 Reasons Why” because it was one of the worst shows ever created and I couldn’t look away.
Totally - that’s a rule I generally play by too, at least with comedies. With SC it unfortunately became this vicious cycle that the more I watched the more eager I became to feel validated for sticking it out haha
Parks is definitely one of the shows that people use as an example of "it gets better at x point in the show" but that doesn't mean every show will
