The Jurassic Park sequels should not all be clustered together. The tall grass, watefall, and trailer cliff scenes in The Lost World are as good as the original film. Yes the two egregious scenes are bad, but this isn't on the level of the others.
I wear New Balance shoes that cost me over a hundred bucks because I have flat feet and previous shoes I owned were torturing my ankles during long walks.
the ultrarange is amazing but Vans discontinued the AC version a few years back and I'll never forgive them. I've had like 3 pairs and my last ones are almost done sadly.
My bf has flat feet and I've been trying to find him good house shoes/slippers cause the floors hurt his bare feet. I got him some from Target for now, but i dont anticipate them lasting long. Good shoes are pricey. My feet aren't picky so I've never rly had an issue
Once you start wearing New Balance you need to also start holding barbecues and talk about how you have a big day tomorrow.
I jumped on the New Balance 574 train last year and they feel great especially since I’m on my feet all day. I tried wearing the Vans sports shoes and I feel like even their most ~comfortable~ shoes are not that comfortable.
My vans were torn to shreds for a few months and I was too lazy to buy new ones so I just started wearing my running shoes all the time and I noticed significantly less aches and pains everyday. Now I'm back to vans again and I look like less of a dweeb but the aches and pains are back.
im over 30 so I stopped caring about looking like a dweeb. and honestly new balances look pretty nice.
I am starting to think I have wide feet and have been in denial because when I blind purchase shoes online I can't fit in them even though they are the right size.
I tend to be REALLY picky about shoes and then get unnecessarily emotionally attached to the one pair I actually like for years
my man great movie without San Diego. I’ll even give the gymnastics scene a pass assuming that’s the other you’re referring to. Not good but you can get away with it in a blockbuster
Vans are comfy and look good and go with most everything. Slight preference to eras over authentics and slip ons but I like all three. still like chukka/desert boots for looking a step above casual and I love dark boots for winter, realized I’ve had the same pair from ll bean for 7-8 years now and they’re still going strong
Yeah, the gymnastics scene is the other. It is corny but it at least follows the basic setup of introducing a skill at the beginning of the film and having it pay off later. Lesser films would just have her do it randomly. Even the San Diego scene can be sort of forgiven because it is Spielberg trying to see if he can do it. Jurassic Park is shot in darkness, in the woods, without a lot of people around, which is a lot of why we remember the effects so well, but anyone with that technology wants to set it loose in a huge environment.
