Sadly, i found it really depressing that almost every house I saw decorated for Halloween and Christmas this year had Trump signs in their yard. Christmas I get since libs wanna kill Clause or whatever, but Halloween???? All that satanic shit???? Doesn’t that go against their very religious and political minds???? And yes, they definitely watch all those sitcoms.
yes. i didn't say 100% id imagine the majority of the audience of those shows consider themselves apolitical
I remember once making a joke about The Big Bang Theory and my co-worker, a woman with her Masters degree and someone I still consider a friend, asked what was wrong with The Big Bang Theory. I was pretty shocked, but just now I went on Facebook to see how many people liked the pages for Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory and it was a significant amount. Places like this become a lot like an echo chamber. Imagine trying to talk to the average person at Wal-Mart or Applebees about Nathan for You.
Places like this are definitely an echo chamber. The vast majority of people view television as basic entertainment, not in any analytical way.
Yeah I'd reckon most of our parents eat that shit up. I know my mom generally does and my dad enjoys it whenever he watches something that isn't the news or sports. My grandmother loves it though.
Didn’t know The Unicorn was a CBS show. I kinda half-watched a few episodes on Netflix once and actually didn’t mind it
I can't remember the last time I watched something that aired on CBS besides Craig Ferguson when he was on and Big Brother
Honestly, I willingly watched the Fran Drescher sitcom Indebted from last year. I don't believe in guilty pleasures, and it was just a good time for me. It was bad, but I still loved it.
