I can't stress enough how big of a difference it makes to wear long johns and wool socks under your jeans during the winter
i was always too lazy to layer my pants but yeah it does make all the difference. its also uncomfortable as hell and doesnt work super well with slim cut jeans.
Get remote start on your car. Have it run for ten minutes. Contribute to global warming. Be comfortable.
I'm pissed I just had to take mine out before the winter. For some reason after 5 years of no issues, it started draining my car's battery while off haha it wouldn't last 24 hours without needing a jump
everyone like “layers are sooo restricting!” what the hell are y’all doing that wearing a sweatshirt is prohibiting? don’t lie, all any of us do is Post. you can post in a parka.
I actually enjoy being inside for 3-4 months a year questioning everything and becoming borderline depressed only to be saved by spring and 3 days of beautiful weather before it hits 95 degrees for four months straight because global warming
Layering fucking sucks as soon as you get to the place youre going. Hell, layering sucks as soon as your car heats up. Numerous times I had to drive and take off my outer layer on the way to work. It stunk. One of the only positive things about this pandemic is not having to go outside during a cold morning
Extremes are a different story. I’d rather be neither. But on a regular basis, I am more uncomfortably cold than hot and it stinks. We had fucked up air in our apartment and had to get a portable air unit that I’d have to empty water out of in the middle of the night or it’d shut off. I’d rather live like that than not have heat
Was just talking about how dumb it is that stores, restaurants, etc, crank the heat in the winter when their customers are all bundled up
