The true forgotten Christmas classic is It Happened on Fifth Avenue though. Its class consciousness is till crazy relevant too.
The Apartment is the best Christmas movie cuz it focuses on unrequited love and suicide, just like every Christmas tradition
I just googled if all bell peppers taste the same, and not only did I learn they taste different, but I also learned that purple bell peppers are apparently a thing
Just rewatched jingle all the way recently and it doesn’t really hold up. We’ve been watching a Christmas movie almost every night and I think next year we might watch 4 or 5 of the 20+ we watched this year. Most of them do suck.
Home Alone, Elf, Christmas Vacation (Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid being shitters notwithstanding), The Night Before Those are really the only ones worth watching.
1. Home Alone 2. Gremlins 3. Christmas Vacation 4. Home Alone 2 5. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang 6. Die Hard 7. A Christmas Story 8. The Santa Clause Elf stinks. I did not enjoy Muppets Christmas Carol as much as I wanted to when I watched it last year but there were some bangers.
It’s a Wonderful Life is the only one I ever feel like watching in the time of year. Obviously I love Shane Black too. I enjoyed Happiest Season, though it was more than an arm’s length from greatness
Home Alone 1 and 2, Christmas Vacation, the night before and office Christmas party are ones that we rewatched that I’ll watch again next year. Everything else was okay to terrible. The Santa clause movies are kinda fun but forgettable. Elf is whatever. The grinch with Jim Carrey sucks so bad. I fucking hate that movie.
