I think Star Wars mostly existed alongside my other favs, while Power Rangers & Pokémon were more distinct phases. Can’t remember if DBZ or Yu-Gi-Oh! had a bigger effect on my dwindling Pokémon interest. (Superheroes, of course, have been a steady constant along the way, lol.)
I still have those Batman Forever mugs. That and the LOTR goblets are damn near indestructible. Wish restaurants still had tie-in cups.
Anyone remember the Nightmare Before Christmas wrist watches from BK? I’m pretty sure I still have my Jack Skeleton one somewhere
There’s a Digimon cup I remember having for years that I can’t remember enough about to find online. It had a picture of the original cast on the cup itself, & then the lid had the winged orange one on top. Also, on the Batman note, I think we still have this plate at my parents’ house? Unless it finally broke beyond use. Definitely lasted long enough for my nephews to get good use out of it. I for years demanded that this be my plate at dinner, lol.
All I wanted was the promotional sunglasses burger king was selling from the 1999 blockbuster mega-hit Wild Wild West, don't even know if I ever got them just recall that I wanted them so badly
I think I did get those and they were very cheap and bent. I also remember getting a bunch of inspector gadget toys from McDonald’s.
Stuck in Love is the only movie that I can think of off the top, and it's not even really a Thanksgiving movie. It just starts at Thanksgiving and ends at the next one.
Truly one of the worst films I’ve seen, haha. My wife was like, “I heard this was good!” And it wasn’t and both of us hated it
are there even really Thanksgiving movies? Holiday movies are always more Christmas. I tried looking up examples but it's just "movies where Thanksgiving happens at at least some point"
