It's up to the audience whether they take it as an idealistic fiction about government or a playbook by which to live their lives though.
1984 explicitly criticizes authoritarian governments. If someone comes away from 1984 disliking authoritarian governments, that is an influence that was intended. If someone came away from 1984 thinking it is dangerous to date a younger woman, that would not be the book's fault. Compare The West Wing to something like Veep. No one can reasonably come away from Veep and think that the show intends for people to idolize Selina Kyle or that this was an ideal way to practice politics.
Vase never backs up their opinions on anything. They just insult the user who posts them, says their wrong, and then avoids backing up anything they say. There was a thread I asked for reasons or examples of something probably 3 different times and they kept avoiding it. They think having different opinions means they’re smarter than everyone else but is incapable of even pretending to actually have them or back them up at all.
Pretty sure I’m only being @-ed because he doesn’t want to reply to the rest of you all and I’m the easy target haha
Only attacking you. Refuses to apologize to belitting Mad when he was the one at fault. Vase Full of Sexism
I've legitimately been "@-ing" many people in here. You think you're special or something just because you came into a conversation you had nothing to do with and started attacking me? Please.
I don't ignore it. I address it and I back up my opinions, you just don't like what I have to say. Sorry that I can't fulfill your every desire and give you exactly what you want every time.
No, I literally quoted you multiple times asking your opinion on something and you continued to post and reply to other people but not me.
This is just so not true haha out of 5 people that replied to your last few posts you chose me so yes I do feel special
