I enjoyed the first few seasons as it aired but haven’t watched it since then so I have no idea how it holds up.
Maybe “incredible comedic talent” was a better way to put it up. For who it starred and guested on it, it should have been hilarious.
I absolutely loved the first 4 seasons, then 5 was just okay and then it took one of the biggest nosedives I've ever seen a show take I don't think I've ever seen the entire cast of a show noticeably not giving a single shit like the final season of The Leage
as much as I love Zouks, Kroll, Duplass, and Scheer.. yeah zero desire to revisit the League. I don't doubt it's aged horribly.
I find those characters incredibly annoying is my bad take for this thread. I watched Kroll Show from the beginning and loved Too Much Tuna, but a little goes a long way with those characters and there's simply too much for me now haha
I watched The League for the first time maybe a year ago and yeah it was full of pretty cringey stuff that didn't age well at all. Absolutely could not stand Duplass's character, he was a douche. Otherwise, Zouks had me in stitches in nearly every scene he was in. Kroll and Scheer had some good laughs too. It was a decent comedy to have on the background and occasionally look up at
This is accurate tbh. He’s nice, sometimes witty, ppl get that confused with funny. I have a hard time imagining someone laughing out loud at him tbh also gives me gen x vibes lol probably popular with that crowd
First I've heard of that but wouldn't be too shocked if that were the case. Kroll isn't even in half the episodes the last two years
The league is not good haha first 2 seasons maybe hold up but overall it’s not funny and relies way too much on improv
