PFT doesn’t really strike me as a typical nerd comedian though. Like, he plays video games and makes pop culture references, but that’s not the crux of who he is as a comedian. I could see that applying to someone like Patton Oswalt or Brian Posehn. But that seems like an odd complaint to not like PFT.
Somewhere in the middle for me. I like him, and he has a habit of popping up in a lot of places I’m generally fond of, but that’s about it. Not as crazy about him as a lot of others (primarily comedy podcast listeners) seem to be. Will always appreciate him for bringing Mr. PB to life though
Yeah, I can understand him not being someone's thing, but I think he's pretty harmless even if you don't like him.
I got too high one night and watched this on repeat for a half hour, so PFT is more than alright in my book.
his stand-up is good, but his podcast appearances are elite. I have him personally to thank for countless hours of enjoyment over the last ten years. he's a gift.
it's just funny because he's so universally beloved that the whole joke on You're The Worst was what if we make the world's nicest man a dick
Probably my favorite PFT bit as Big Chunky Bubbles at the Just For Laughs fest. Skip to the 30 minute mark
Gonna revive this by saying that knowing the incredible talent involved, “The League” was a truly awful show.
Kroll, Scheer and Zouks are 100% incredibly talented. Enjoy most of their stuff more than anything Duplass has touched
