So good! Some serious pop-punk perfection on that album... and their cover of “Torn” is awesome!

 

I haven't commented since the name change so i had to make a new account. I just felt that when I saw Homegrown on this playlist that someone needed to say that their EP that came out in 2004 is depressingly underrated.

 

I just found out a few days ago that there's an unreleased EP after that as well:

Amazing! This actually sounds like the perfect backdrop to the Sunny weather in England right now combined with my elation from the football match i Just watched.

 

That HTH album was like the soundtrack to my senior year of HS.

the dudes are from Canada I believe and were all over Much Music right around 2000.

 

does anyone remember the link to the website someone posted maybe a year or so ago that was a link to all music from bands in the punk/emo scene from the northeast in the early 2000's. I have been trying to find the website for a while.

their album "This Vicious Cycle" is one of the best from that decade IMO, and now my Avatar is getting some love

 

This Vicious Cycle was so good. I always hoped for more tunes but I think their lead guitarist left the band before or right after Heroes from the Future came out. I didn’t care too much for that EP other than the song Lil Joey. That song rips.

 

Back when pop punk had meaning and value.

Also I came here to use this as a support group... How many people have been faced with the cringeworthy statement "oh I used to listen to pop-punk back in the day"... Well I still do and I'm proud of it. 20 years + and counting.

 

Hells yeah, great list! It's really making me take a trip down memory lane.

Revisiting my early-2000s pop-punk collection, so many gems. Agent Felix, Better Luck Next Year, Red Letter Day, Name Taken, One Dollar Short and the list goes on...
