Nice to see some Northstar. No Matchbook Romance? Hidden in Plain View? Juliana Theory? Saw some Letter Kills. I remember seeing them at the 2004 Warped Tour and bought their CD at their merch table. NEver really cared for it, but kept waiting for them to get big and it never happened.
That was on the Warped comp one year, yeah? That’s where I first heard them. A major thanks for reminding me of Count The Stars. I loved that damn song. Anyone remember The Goodwill? Another band I just remembered.
Man these guys totally slipped off my radar. Bought their album in some bargain bin years ago. Such a great album!
ehh...I feel like a lot of these aren't even close to be considered "underrated," as a lot of them I consider to being popular in the 2000s. with that said, my vote goes to Sonny's a temporary remedy.
Yes, just a couple weeks ago I was making fun of the song The Boy Scout with my friends and wondering why I used to think it was good
This list definitely gives me some nostalgic vibes. If I was to suggest something, I'd go with some No Use For A Name songs.
What about (serious Bamboozle vibes here): -The Morning Light -You, Me, and Everyone We Know -This Providence -Every Avenue -Go Radio -Forever the Sickest Kids
I liked The Guest and self titled. Never got into Raise the Dead. Turn. Smile. Shift. Repeat is an all-timer for me.
Midtown- Save The World, Lose The Girl Fenix TX- Fenix TX Drive Thru Records You'll Never Eat Fast Food Again comp Blink 182- Enema of the State 4 albums I had when I when they first came out and still can sing a long to any day 18 years later. So good.
When So Long, Astoria was released, a lot of my friends only knew them for their Boys of Summer cover. I loved that album, but I remember being so annoyed that that was only song some people associated them with. I really loved their(/his) earlier albums too. That said, underrated? Nah, The Ataris had their moment. Welcome the Night threw off their momentum and then Kris turned the follow up into Chinese Democracy Pt. II. Not that he owed anything to me or any of his other fans, but at a certain point I just started rolling my eyes every time he’d make a statement about the new album. Also, Sugarcult, The Starting Line, and Something Corporate: a ton of people really loved those bands. They didn’t keep going for one reason or another, but I don’t really consider them underrated. Definitely not compared to a lot of the bands mentioned on Twitter.
