Still salty they teased a disambiguation stream and it never came to fruition. Need to see it. Bummed I missed the live
Sounds promising, more on the Pneumonia side of things musically. Would love to hear them lean more on that sludgy/post-metal vibe next. Reminds me a lot of My Epic's work too
that track is so much more interesting to me than at least half of the songs they’ve dropped since coming back
Its the first post on reddit. Google drive link. Tim and Chris said it wouldn't be on streaming, but it will be on reddit within 5 mins. They don't care how people listen to it. Since it's truly just a demo. Drums aren't real. It was done on a drum pad or something they said. I also screen recorded part of the live so I have the demo clips they shared, lol. Yeah one of them absolutely sounded nuts. Like someone said, Everyone Looks So Good From Here type shit.
I wonder if that demo clip is one of the ones from their sound check listening parties. Would love to hear it. Did they say if that was coming out on this future EP?
Don't remember hearing talks of an EP during the stream. Where does that EP info come from by the way?
[[[[####%#}{##}}#youmightbeinluck}{{]]]>>>>>>)))))))) I don’t recall anything either on future release plans. They have a folder titled “to work on” or something.
Can Tim and Chris just form a supergroup with 00s metalcore/mathcore alumnis? I don't know if it's because I'm currently in that zone, revisiting tons of lesser known bands from that era including those from the old Tooth & Nail and Solid State rooster, but those heavy demos Tim played totally have Scarlet and Spitfire vibes. If Spencer and Aaron aren't interested in them, it'd be a bummer if these ideas go to waste forever.
+1 for the Spitfire callout. I still think Cult Fiction is one of the best things to come out of that scene. Self-Help is fantastic too.
Played DTGL for the first time in a minute today at the gym. 10/10 beast of an album. Wouldn’t be shocked if they announced the 20 year tour before EOY
Wonder what cool vinyl variants we’ll get for it next year. I thought some of the holographic TOCS stuff was cool (still have yet to buy one though, ha).
That reminds of how absolutely insane it used to be to find a copy of DTGL on vinyl. It used to be my grail until they repressed it for the rebirth tour.
I always felt the same but felt better about it since the actual cover is far better than the original vinyl one imo. That said, I would’ve paid any price for the vinyl to have the OG deluxe CD cover.
Have these graphics always been up on the Define songs? makes me think they’re starting to quietly ramp up the DTGL 20 machine
That would be great starting to get some info on that. The 20 year TOCS tour was awesome, can't wait to see DTGL
Hopefully they come to Europe in 2026. They're opening for Landmvrks not too far from here in December but it's close to selling out and I don't care for the former. I'd do anything to catch a full Underoath set.
