I think this one was even better than LITSOS. Spencer sounded more consistent and could very clearly hear each of the instruments. what’s the best way to preserve these for future viewing?
Download the Vimeo video downloader from chrome extension and the option to download the video will be there when you go back to view the stream.
Got tickets for both shows out so far, and I just caught a few snippets here and there as teases. And... wow, insane that they still have the same energy after all these years. It takes me back to being 13 in 2008 and watching every single live video on YouTube regardless of the quality. What a band. Looking forward to watch both sets later this weekend.
I cruised around these but could only find it in the version of the YouTube playlist which is like 50 clips. Haha.
I had a hard time dropping the $140 on the full package a few weeks back but I wanted those vinyls so damn badly and figured these shows would be cool to check out. Cool was an understatement. They’ve been absolutely incredible. Just watched DTGL during my workout and it was bliss.
Has anyone noticed that the uploaded rebroadcasts are, at times, horribly out of sync? It fluctuates from dead on to a second or two off. It’s most noticeable at the start of “Casting Such a Thin Shadow” when the camera is on Chris, then pans to Aaron.
Noticed it live. If it was the entire broadcast it would bother me but it seemed to only be from one of the cameras.
I got my DTGL ticket and shiiiit this is so good. Dope production call and they sounds great. Love Spencer using a megaphone through the mic, sounds really cool
As far as I know, there wasn't any special merch for just this show like there was for LITSOS. I think the reason they did it for that album is because it didn't get the same anniversary treatment as the other albums did.
I think it's because some of the cameras are filming at 24 FPS, don't have any concrete evidence, but that's my guess.
That would make sense. I was thinking it was AirPlay being funky when I initially watched LITSOS on my TV, but then I wound up noticing it on my phone and computer as well. Same thing happened (at times) when I watched DTGL on my iPad when working out. I initially chalked it up to my Apple TV using AirPlay, because I have a hell of a time getting audio to sync properly with that device. But, was at least glad to know it wasn't just that.
You can buy rebroadcast tickets here for LITSOS and DTGL: REBROADCAST They're only staying up until end of August
