Putting Underoath links their Spotify profile which will drive up streams for both. We’re definitely going to be seeing a lot more of this now that ADTR just did a song with Marshmellow
I like it quite a bit too. But I think Blessthefall just did a song with a DJ too. It’s already started
KoRn's been hip to the collab game since I was a kid. Edit: As hilarious as this is now, this was HUGE when it happened and spent a long time on TRL's top 10. (which at the time was a big deal for mainstream music)
Hot damn they finally started getting the bonus tracks on streaming services huh, I've had them since the album release but I was also really bummed for people that couldn't listen to them with how limited they were. Loneliness 100% should have been on the album. I wonder when Another Life is gonna get put up, I'm surprised it's only Loneliness right now.
Writing On The Walls music video came up on my timeline today. Such a cool concept and such an amazingly detailed song. I really hope that as UØ moves forward, that can start to incorporate those same little intricate details the way they’ve done in the past. We got little tastes of it on Erase Me, but it felt somewhat reserved and “safe.” I really hope they push their sound and give life to different layers within the songs. Like with WOTW you can hear little guitar details, the harmonies towards the beginning verses, etc. like the intro and outro are such interesting takes as well as the fact that it doesn’t cling to a chorus but still tells a cohesive story. I really hope UØ can find that type of writing again in their next effort. I really enjoyed Erase Me for what it was and I’m hoping they can push it further.
Also, does ANYONE have a Paul Frank Underoath wallet? The one with the LITSOS artwork on it? I’ve been searching forever for one of those.
Tomorrow is LITSOS 11 year anniversary apparently. They're releasing some shirt, but I want vinyl. Cmon T&N.
New Almost record just announced. It’s called “Fear Caller”, out October 18th via Fearless. Opening track is streaming now.
Underoath said tonight these last 4 dates with ADTR are the end of the ‘Erase Me’ cycle and come the new year they’ll be starting the process of writing/recording their new record
Super early prediction but I think it’ll be “better” in that it’ll be more consistent/mature/whatever but even less of what people want. It’ll be there Amo in spirit.
Yeah, they were pretty shitty back then. None of them think like that anymore to my knowledge and Aaron and Spencer in particular are very vocal about renouncing those beliefs.
