i’m sure people will recommend early stuff like they do with UO but imo you could start with Versions and then do The Tropic Rot. those two are the best by far imo. and if you like them you could move from there. another dope one
They need to get Vacant Mouth into their setlist Underoath/The Chariot/Fear Before/These Arms Are Snakes tour back in '05 >>>>>
If anyone is in the mood for TOCS vibes, Thousand Below take some heavy influence from that record and their own record last year was a really fun listen. Nothing ground breaking obviously but, as I said, lots of fun.
i used to hate the synths in this band and some others now i make synth-based music wow old age changes a man
Guys what if it sounds like that metal core band they opened for. I actually can’t remember their name but they are really big
I’d travel far and wide for this Norma jean would also be a travel extender for me. UO and NJ are exactly what I want out of heavy music.
I've heard rumors about a new album for months but never really believed them. Really hope this album lives up to the hype
got em would be cool if they did like thrice and etid do an tour with a band that leans towards the heavier side of their sound and a band more towards their more experimental stuff, like maybe code orange and HEALTH, but that would never happen lol
Not gonna stand for this, listen to in shallow seas we sail. Also two incredible a.m. singers who use vibrato and pitch control really well. Also matt is an awesome guitarist, love his chord voicings. Their last album really isn’t metalcore outside of “thrash” listen to “the less you say”
Actually the question isn’t metalcore either... like at all. Listen to studying politics and tell me that’s metalcore. They’re just a posthardcore band
in shallow seas we sail isnt really that style im talking about. they took a fucking nosedive after that one and the albums before it just dont hold up but i still like ISSWS
They have one bad album that’s metalcore, “we do what we want”.. but they basically said they just made that album to see how far they could go and Devin wasn’t on that record so it doesn’t even feel like emery
