tbh wasn’t great. would have preferred some CNS and HOHW stuff but iirc it was only SILYAYD. but tj was there with the band and that was tight
No I said I guess I was; but it sort of felt like you were trying to use it as a deragatory term, but you clarified that later
if anyone can holler at one for me tomorrow while i’m at work and will take venmo as payment, would be grateful
all said and done define the great line does have some jams on it. moving for the sake of motion was a great indicator of where they were heading.
Define is a fucking great album - the closer is so fucking intense *not saying you’re doing this* DTGL shouldn’t be penalized because the band made even better records after it - that record defined (no pun intended) my 2006
thats where my defense of their back catalog stops tho im sorry but chasing safety is so fucking dated in every way
that’s fair but TOCS still bops for me in the same way a record like TAYF and it’s ilk does It’s Dangerous Business and I don’t feel receptive today fucking go and Reinventing has hooks most bands would still kill for today
Boy Brushed Red and Reinventing are all I go back to from that album. Those songs are still jams but the album as a whole definitely doesn't do it for me anymore.
im gonna be real witchu the only reason disambiguation is my favorite is because it has sludge metal influence all over it
That being said I am glad Aaron is back. I understand not liking him on TOCS and maybe DTGL but I think he did a great job on LITSOS, some of his strongest performances are on there I feel.
