AAAAWWWW YEEEEAAAAAAA Also they changed their profile/cover photos on social media to all yellow... was gonna link to Facebook but I can’t access their Facebook page right now strangely enough.
To go back to deftones comparisons, I think underoath could be as big as them (maybe they were at one point? but I mean definitely not now) and garner the kind of respect deftones does now. because even on LITSOS and disambiguation it's safe to say underoath never had the credibility they deserved in the music world at large. for a while deftones didn't either but by staying artistically sharp and reinventing themselves every album they're now respected by a lot of different pockets of music fans. if underoath push forward artistically they have a better chance of becoming a band like that. maybe it's because I think disambiguation is significantly more ambitious and transcending than the other albums in my opinion Aaron seemed to be holding them back creatively. I hope they don't do a reach for a nostalgic sound like a lot of reunions in the scene seem to end up as. Maybe it's irrational but with Aaron in the picture I'm worried that'll happen. They could also explore an alternate universe where Aaron never left after LITSOS and see where that will leave them. But Aaron left for a reason ya know? I hope I'm proven wrong and they're better than ever with him but history tells me they were better without him
Well this was never reported so I didn't know, I don't keep up with what they've said recently either I just assumed with the statement they gave it was just time for both him and the band to move on
Dont care what sound they employ. Dont care what everyone else thinks. I love most of the underoath (and the almost) records and i completely trust them as artists and i know itll be fantastic.
Y'all are allowed to feel however you want and so am I I'm just trying to lay out my thoughts dk what's with the "I don't care what you think"
