Want to like it so bad. Adore spencer. Especially on the last few UO records. Didn’t connect with the sleep wave stuff on any level. Ha
Did we ever do a bracket for best song in this thread? I know they've been done in others, like ETID.
I'm pretty sure they're being facetious. But I'm also 99% certain the band is sitting on a new album.
Sorry, I thought it was one of those moments where the info is dripping in rapidly! Missed the joke, ha!
Based on Spencer’s Instagram he’s had blonde hair for a while so the pic may be a bit aged. That said, totes a new album coming. Or at least a whole ‘nother mess of tour dates.
This would lineup nicely with the report that they had studio time in September. An April - June release please!!!
Tour dates, festivals, new EP, new album. I don't care what it is so long as they're active and happy. It'll all happen in due time.
If they are or were to release a new record this year, surely it wouldn’t be on tooth and nail would it? Seems like that would be too big of a record for tooth and nail, seems more likely a label like epitaph would put it out. Especially with them playing these huge festivals with other big rock bands.
Chris' Instagram story right now is just some videos of a speaker with audio of some samples. Interesting...
I probably would guess rise out of all those, but at this point I’m sure the music will sound like what they want it to sound like and I don’t know enough about labels to say which would market them better.
Definitely not ruling out tooth and nail, just didn’t know if this would be too big of a record for them to release, and didn’t know if they would want to release on tooth and nail because of thinking it would pingeon hold them into the “Christian” scene even though tooth and nail has branched out since then
Not saying this is feasible but it would be the coolest thing if they released on Bad Christian. They seem to have a great relationship with emery and it would obviously be huge for the label.
Never listened to these guys. Is there a single song that represents their sound well enough for me to give them a shot?
