Do you mean 100 words with Ray Harkins? I know he's already done Lead Singer Syndrome back before the Rebirth tour.
It's always been my favorite of theirs. Define is the necessary bridge between the more melodic Chasing Safety and the perfected pulverization of Lost in the Sound. I don't mind Disambiguation, especially with Daniel Davison's superb drumming, but Aaron's vocals are a key ingredient to Underoath.
Still haven't listened to Disambiguation... (Not due to the lack of Aaron - the songs they released didn't appeal to me really)
Am I the only one that hopes they are doing some touring soon where they play other stuff, like I loved those albums, and i'm so glad their back, but LITSOS and Disambiguation are amazing as well, and I'd rather hear a good mix...
They're gonna be on the BMTH tour next year so I assume then. I just got a ticket because having Underoath as a main support is amazing
Bummed I'm missing this UØ BMTH tour. It's not coming anywhere close to me. Would love to hear some other stuff. Aaron seems really stoked on this reunion and that makes me really happy. He was the one I was worried about initially. He seemed in a bad place, but I think that writing Out of the Badlands was really therapeutic for him and he's now moved on and stoked into this UØ reunion full force. I'm thinking they could start writing music on the road or after the tours this year. I had doubts that they'd write new music, but I'm now believing that they will write new music eventually. It's just a matter of when, and I'm a patient person. Don't rush or push the writing too much. Let them get back in the groove and get excited about them together as a creative band again. Save this "genre", boys.
I'm kind of upset they're main supporting a tour, honestly. They just headlined all these same venues and sold them out. But this is also because I really don't like BMTH.
I'm not gonna lie, the crowd in this killed it. I wouldn't mind just hearing the crowd over Aaron. This is my favourite Underoath song and top 5 fav of all time and it kills me that Underoath/Aaron never try to sing it like the album. Glad the crowd did there best.
it's still probably my most played song in iTunes. I'd guess it's a tricky one to pull off live just like the album, unless they just had a track play, especially since most of the intro is actually Aaron Marsh's work.
I think they reissued the song with Aaron G singing it mostly but I was never able to really tell the difference. But I'm right there with you, it's probably my top played if I was somehow able to keep my play count since college
Surely they must mean they did pre-pro for something tour related... But there's always a possibility...
Some yesterday I've listened to Disambiguation four times and I forgot just how great this album is. A true slapper
