The fact that they played Breathing In A New Mentality both times I saw them post hiatus makes me happy because that song bangs and I am inclined to agree that it's their best opener

 

Desperate times is so fucking good. So is too bright to see. That one two punch floored me when I heard it.

 

I’ve gone through phases where any of the openers have been the best, but something about Mentality hits every time for me. Just speaks to how great their openers are in general.

 

I'd almost just love to see the extra set in this TOCS tour just be their album openers haha

 

Yeah Desperate Times does the best job of matching a killer melody with the chaotic/atmospheric side of the band.

Mike has always been one of my favorite vocalists in the scene.

 

‘A Fault Line. A Fault of Mine’ has been my favorite Underoath song since ‘09 and I don’t think it will be dethroned

 

Returning Empty Handed might get my vote for their outright best song.

But they do openers better than pretty much everyone in the game.

 

Oh wow, I need to go on a journey to find my favorite UØ song. Not gonna be easy.

 

The breakdown in breathing in a new mentality could wake me from a coma so that’s my vote

Take A Breath might be my favorite UØ song. The way Aaron and Spencer switch up during the chorus rules. They opened with that track when I saw them last year and it was sooooo good.

 

Thorn is pretty close to the top

My biggest fear about this fan vote thing is that we miss out on Voyeurist songs on this anniversary tour.

 

I’m worried they’re going to limit what songs from each able they would play lol

 

They absolutely will.

 

there’s a 0-5% chance the fan vote gets us anything after DTGL besides breathing and/or too bright +/- paper lung. Great songs but at this point I’m nauseated hearing em live, especially the first 2.

anyways, returning empty handed or moving for the sake of motion is probably my favorite but I’ve really gotta do favorites by album, I can’t choose a top 5 let alone number 1

Something I've always enjoyed was the opening of There Could Be Nothing After This with "You want to see me disappear? Well so do I, so do Iiiiiiiiiii" Such a mood way back when

 

Man I forgot how massive that chorus on Paper Lung is.
