Love it. This sounds like a direct continuation of the Anthology songs to me, like something I would've expected had they released an album in 2013 instead of stopping, and I mean that in a good way. I'm seeing this press release pop up on a few music sites:
I imagine the longer rollout than what you'd expect from a band today is because they want to tour it and they also want to release it digitally and physically at the same time. They might've also taken a lesson from the recent represses and how delayed they were and want to play it safe. I imagine vinyl production will be more or less back to normal back then, unless a super COVID variant pops up.
Based on everything I've seen, vinyl wait times can be up to a year now. Not sure it's going to get better any time soon.
Deezer has the album's track lengths: Damn Excuses 2:37 Hallelujah 03:01 I’m Pretty Sure I’m Out Of Luck And Have No Friends 03:45 Cycle Ghostemane 04:13 Thorn 04:36 (No Oasis) 02:49 Take A Breath 03:26 We’re All Gonna Die 03:19 Numb 03:41 Pneumonia 07:12 Clocks in at around 38 mins
Seriously! They did the tease after the last stream for Disambiguation and Erase Me. Hoping we do get them eventually. Especially because the streams were so successful.
whewwwwww that song is fire. i will say though: for a band with a history of such great music videos and visual production during performances, their merch is consistently meh
Why do i need a tshirt with the tracklist on it lol Really liked the plain white shirt with the U until i saw the back
The only good underoath merch is the florida shirt. Just reprint 5,000 of those for every album release.
Makes me curious how many more song get released before the albums out seeing how this was all being done for an October release before the vinyl delay pushed it to January.
Kind of crazy how the vinyl delay impacted the actual release date. I've had multiple instances through the years where the pre-ordered vinyl wasn't scheduled to arrive until after the release. Personally, I'd be fine with being able to download/stream the album in October and wait for the vinyl to arrive later on. But given the Observatory fiasco, I don't think there was any other way for the band to approach this.
