I'd be down for an EP. When they announced the VIP listening parties they definitely said they are in the middle of recording new material and there are a lot of unfinished demos floating around. Kind of wild they have never done one before now. I would love a year of sporadic EPs and then a big push for a new album a little way down the line.
Yeah that’s dope. I hope it gets a wider release after RSD in case it’s impossible to find. The digital ghost version of ‘No Friends’ is still one of my favorite Underoath moments.
I believe that's what 'RSD First' means. So if you don't get the RSD version, no need to fret, as I believe this will have a much wider release.
I’m working that day so I’m guessing I won’t be able to get one. Would love to get that and Taylor swift.
Available at participating record shops. Shops decide when they open, first come-first serve. For pricing, I'd say tack on an additional 10-20% than usual retail of albums so this will probably be $30-$50.
And then some places will shove what's leftover online later that evening after the physical store itself has closed, but you're obviously risking that there'll be leftovers of what you want at all.
Closest one to me is almost an hour in Austin... But being new to vinyl the last 8ish months, the idea of this treasure IS enticing
The longer snippet they posted is very Lost In The Sound meets Erase Me. Adjusting my expectations but I'm intrigued nonetheless.
Not the premiere but I’ve heard the song… cool blend imo, it’s not too far off from Voyeurist except for a more upbeat hook that I feel like could’ve worked on Erase Me. The contrast between the verse sections and the hook gives the song a cool dynamic.
I absolutely loved Voyeurist and it’s still got a solid spot in my gym playlists. Really hoping we get some more heavy songs on this new album/EP.
This song is really fucking good, its dissonant, they have "journey" moments, next to TOCS pop hooky moments, and chaotic heavy parts. I couldn't ask for anything better from them right now.
Wow. I'm actually kinda blown away with how good this is. It takes me on such a journey sonically and I feel like Chris really ties this whole thing together with the background elements. They really capitalize on the Aaron/Spencer vox harmonies and split duties. I keep picking apart the little elements throughout that are SO cool like the harsh synth in the bridge and ending. That whole bridge into "teach me to let go" might be a top-10 moment for me. Killer track!! I canNOT wait to hear it live!!! EDIT: This truly feels like a great step forward from Voyeurist
