With new albums I usually get to a point where I need to shuffle the tracklist after listening so many times, but I haven't felt that urge at all with this. It keeps my attention the whole way through. Still listening to this at the gym and it's just perfect.
Went back and forth about whether or not to open all of these, and really happy I did. Might as well start the album ranking train. 1. Lost In The Sound Of Separation 2. Voyeurist 3. Disambiguation 4. Define The Great Line 5. They're Only Chasing Safety 6. Erase Me 7. The Changing of Times
disambiguation lost in the sound of separation define the great line voyeurist they’re only chasing safety the pre Spencer albums I never listen to and only have heard maybe twice each Erase Me
Diambiguation Lost in the Sound of Separation Define the Great Line Vouyerist They're Only Chasing Safety The ambiance of whatever area I am in at any given moment Erase Me
DTGL Disambiguation LITSOS TOCS Vouyerist Erase Me Could probably swap TOCS and Vouyerist depending on the day. I've never listened to the pre spencer stuff either.
Lost In The Sound of Separation Define the Great Line Voyeurist Disambiguation (Could swap these 3 at any time tbh) They're Only Chasing Safety Erase Me Pre Spencer stuff.
I think my ranking has changed a little: Lost In The Sound of Separation Voyeurist Disambiguation Define The Great Line Erase Me They’re Only Chasing Safety

DTGL TOCS LITSOS Erase Me Voyeurist Disambiguation If I’m going solely on how much I listen to them/what has my favorites. Dis never stuck with me as hard as it did for a lot of people around here. Erase Me is closer to Voyeurist’s quality than most people give it credit for, too. I’d shuffle it a little behind DTGL for quality of musicianship to something more like: DTGL LITSOS VOY DIS EM TOCS And lyrically: DTGL LITSOS DIS TOCS EM VOY
I like Erase Me better than this album and I’m probably the only one on this website. It’s certainly not a bad album but I don’t know, I really want to like it more but after three songs I kinda get bored, I think it has something to do with the production too, I wish it was “heavier” produced or something like that. Last two songs are fantastic though.
i like the album quite a bit overall, but the first 3 or 4 songs are the weaker part of the album to me, i think it really starts getting good starting at "Thorn", definitely give the back half of the album some more spins and see if it grows on you!
Easily their strongest since Disambiguation. I have lots of issues with the recording/mixing/mastering but I still love the songs and vibe tons. My list: Disambiguation Define the Great Line Lost In the Sound of Separation Voyeurist Erase Me They're Only Chasing Safety
BIG time same on all of this I’ve been bitching about it and wondering if I was taking crazy pills lol
Nah - I may be in the minority on this site but I talked to a few friends and the ones who actually have worked in recordings told me they felt mixed on the production as well. At the end of the day, I love the songs so it’s not a deal breaker, but I do hope they release Digital Ghost as a live record since I like the mixing/recording there better.
