An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I'm no expert or anything but I think it's absolutely absurd that Thorn wasn't a single. they should have a long talk with their record label about that

Thorn might be a top 3 UØ song of all time. Speechless.

the little transition thing between the chorus and the 2nd verse on Thorn (1:34-1:40) has got to be one of the best moment on an U0 record ever geeeeez there's like a few new little things happening all at once

i think this is his best vocal performance. I’m not a huge fan of his typical singing so I love how much he’s pushing his voice here. It’s so frantic and wild.

  6. In a new interview that was posted pages ago, one of them said they weren’t on a label anymore, which I found interesting?

Did two listens — still dig Damn Excuses. The rest had... moments? Outro in Thorn, bridge in We’re All Gonna Die, first couple minutes of Out Of Luck, verses in Numb have all jumped out at me in songs that otherwise didn’t. And then a couple of songs I can safely say I’ll never willingly hear again

Not really the great departure from Erase Me it’s being talked about as imo but a step in the right direction at least. Doubt I’ll be coming back much though

(To quote myself): my plan worked out! 1h:44m. I think “the metal music” made me run faster at times considering I didn’t plan on running too hard going into it.

When “I’m Pretty Sure I’m Out of Luck….” Kicks in, that’s a booster for sure!

I feel like I like the production of Digital Ghost more than the actual recorded album. Sounds kind of flat and muddled over my headphones if that makes sense. Maybe I'm nuts? Still loving it

I still think DTGL is my favorite, but this might be my second or third favorite release from them

we've seen the shadow of the axe before Supporter

Where can I find my digital download if you ordered from the band's website? In the order confirmation e-mail there is a "download your order" option but that just takes me to the order page.

I never even got an email for a download link. Kind of annoyed that they're doing a free broadcast of it on the 27th but haven't given a download to people who paid extra for it

Maybe it doesn't come with one then. Maybe the download your order button was just to literally view your order.

thorn is going to be the fan favorite live staple that was bafflingly never a single but is as popular as all their singles

It’s entirely possible they weren’t on a label at the time and only inked a deal after the album was done

This is the best Spencer has sounded with his singing, he really stepped it up big time. Can't believe I've spent over half my life with this band and in 2022 they released a fucking banger

This album getting me through right now. I don’t care if some of the lyrics are cheesy, they are fun as hell to scream along to in the car. So happy to have top tier Underoath back.

I’m confused / maybe dumb, why can’t Thorn be an upcoming single? The album just came out so won’t more singles be coming? Or was the comment meant as “why wasn’t Thorn released before the album came out?”
