i actually really dug Erase Me when it dropped. not every song stuck, but there were still some incredibly strong cuts on there, and it made me excited about where they could go next - potentially blending that more accessible sound with the ferocity and quality of their older stuff. seems like Voyeurist is that middle ground.
After the livestream ends, is there a Q&A or some kind of stream where they talk about the making of the new album or did I imagine that?
I saw that you can purchase the bundle w/ the q&a when I ordered my ticket for the stream but I didn't buy it. Sorta wish I did now.
I don't revisit Erase Me super often outside of a few songs but it will still hold a level of importance in my life because it came out shortly after I got out of an extremely miserable relationship where I was constantly gaslit and emotionally abused and the themes of learning to stand up on your own again really resonated with me at the the time, because I was so emotionally damaged and traumatized that I basically had to re-learn how to function as a person. All that being said, everything from the singles released so far points to this album being fucking awesome so I am stoked as hell
Yeah I'm not sure I bought the Q&A with it and I can't find it on their website right now, even though it's adversited on today's email about the event.
Well goddamn this is also streaming on YouTube RIGHT NOW And to think I was about to go to sleep. Damn Excuses is on and rips so far.
Fuck, this is amazing. Right on the gate, they’re sounds incredible. Love the sound on this with my Beats Fit Pro through the Apple TV. Visuals are killer too.
Or not, this cuts in the middle of Hallelujah's bridge lmao. Excited to catch the full thing tonight.
Oh so this isn't streaming at the same time for everyone? Lucky you!! Hope you're having a blast right now.
I did. Damn happy I did too. This is like an art concert movie. I’ll certainly watch this many times.
yea I feel like over the years I miiiight be one of the biggest Erase Me fans on the board but this definitely feels like a higher level so far, but partly thanks to them having done Erase Me
