Definitely par for the course for them. Longest I've ever seen them do outside of the reunion tour where they played two albums was the Erase Me tour, where they played 19. I remember that being a pretty big deal and they touted it as their "longest set ever" at the time.
Ah thank you! That worked. Just placed my votes for: My Deteriorating Incline Breathing in a New Mentality A Moment Suspended in Time In Regards to Myself The Only Survivor Was Miraculously Unharmed When The Sun Sleeps
I complain a lot about this but it annoys me that they’re doing a fan set for a tour that exists specifically to attract every casual they can. Probably 60% of the crowd on any given night will not have heard deteriorating incline in their life and yet we need these people to vote for it.
Hate to say it but at this point don't get your hopes up, I haven't gotten an email about voting either and my show is tomorrow.
Cool idea in theory but from the beginning it seemed obvious the most popular songs would be picked. It would've been more fair to remove the singles or maybe just keep one that they would rotate one night from the next.
Should do what Kings of Leon does and play a select song in each city that isn’t repeated at any date.
Hadn't even listened to the new song cause the reception I heard was so poor, but oh.. I actually like it? Reminds me of something Josh Scogin would do with '68 or The Chariot. Not that it sounds remotely like either band, but it features that same kind of bizarre genre swing that actually works for me
Currently at the Underoath show and Spencer asked how many people voted. It was a SHOCKINGLY low number, like a couple pockets of people raising their hands. Couldn't have been more than 100-150. Maybe I'm overexaggerating but even the band was astonished at how few people voted. I really think there was something wrong with those emails or people didn't care.
Insane to me that they’ll probably be doing Teeth, Regards, & Writing on the Wall as 1/2 of this fan voted setlist lmao
It’s funny because the band themselves have mentioned how they’re pumped to not play those songs this tour either if possible (WotW & Regards) I just want some disambiguation
It’d be fun if it was one of those real time upvoting things displayed on a projector. Just vote live instead of via email
To be fair like half the people on this thread complained about not getting the email to vote. Definitely a fuck up on their end
Why are they playing Some Will Seek Forgiveness as the first song and then the rest of TOCS in order? also looks like the same encore songs from Norfolk was play tonight.
I'd be very surprised if Define The Great Line doesn't get a 20th anniversary tour in 2026 as well, which makes me wish peeps would favor songs from LITSOS and Disambiguation instead (hell, throw in one of the lesser played Erase Me or Voyeurist cuts for variety's sake too)
