Setlists 1 and 3 are seriously the kind of stuff you only see on dream setlists, knowing deep down this would never actually happen... Unreal that they're going to play these, props to them for doing that. Hope everything will be recorded.
I really really hope there's a recording of these. I've given up hope on a Disambiguation centered tour. Would be so cool to see this live.
Vacant Mouth would've been the cherry on top, I imagine it has to be one of the most vocally taxing songs for Spencer though
As a huge fan of their more atmospheric stuff set 3 is about as good as it gets. I’m hoping they can figure out whatever went wrong with the TOCS fan voted encore for the upcoming DTGL tour so we can get more of those disambiguation deep cuts in there.
Set 1: someone who loves the band through thick and thing Set 2: A big fan during the height but still liked a handful after Set 3: Oh, I like this because it’s different (but genuine)
Yeah, first thought was this is amazing. Second thought was that crowd is dead. Hope it doesn’t knock their confidence in pulling out some of these songs on a proper tour.
They are very tight. Sound as good as ever, but man those new songs just don’t make any goddamn sense. It feels like they are shoving puzzle pieces together that look like they will fit and when they are put together, they don’t.
This is part of why cruise concerts feel disjointed to me, from the outside as I have never been. For the bands this is a unique and different kind of show, so they want to showoff and do these cool sets. The fans however, are there for multiple bands AND everyone who is there can afford the money and the time. So you take the entire pool of Underoath fans, narrow it down to mega fans who would love these sets, then narrow it down further to fans who can afford the cruise.... there's not much room for mega fans to be at these sets
