Is it this one?: ALBUM REVIEW: Underøath - ‘The Place After This One’ | The Soundboard. The only thing I'd agree with them on it is that this album kinda falls between Erase Me and Voyeurist, but not for the reasons they state. The rest is a pretty wordy opinion that doesn't really have much substance. Devil and Shame absolutely crush, though.
Ah, it's this one. ALBUM REVIEW: Underoath - The Place After This One - Boolin Tunes They did a great job explaining how I felt for Generation No Surrender, but I think they were way too critical on some of the best songs on this.
it was the Boolin Tunes review. it sounds like both of those reviews were expecting something more cohesive, but i honestly don't mind that it'll probably be a little more disjointed. i'm ready to get a little weird
Those codes got me to order the deluxe edition after seeing the images. Still too expensive but I couldn't control myself!
With how everything about this album rollout has gone, I'm shocked this may make it out as intended and not earlier lol
My USPS Informed Delivery email shows an Underoath mailer that gives a 30% off code AND says the new record is shipping now (lies). That discount haunts me every week, it seems.
yeah, i've checked Informed Delivery and other tracking managers via UPS/FedEx and haven't seen any movement (no clue which shipping partner they're choosing for the "Economy Ground" shipping option).
still waiting on my shipping confirmation. went with "economy ground", wonder who the shipping partner is
Genuinely psyched for this release. It’s been weeks since I’ve heard a song. The choruses are so infectiously catchy, they have been burned into my brain on this record. Excited to finally hear this thing.
just finished my first listen and all I will say is I really don't think this band is for me anymore.
think they've always gone without the Ø on digital platforms at least, but i think Voyeurist was the first album where it didn't appear in their name on any of the packaging (they changed their logo to a U with a line through it instead of an Ø). they brought it back for this record, but i think it's on the back cover replacing the O in One, and not in the band name.
