Underoath sat down for a lengthy chat with Revolver: “Every record we’ve ever done, people find a way to hate it,” he continues. “When an artist makes something that I don’t understand right off the rip, especially if it’s an artist that I love, I want to listen to it and understand why. Not until all five of us are stoked does a song make it out of the studio. That’s how it is every time we make music … Whatever you [eventually] hear in your speakers is exactly what excites Underoath at this moment.” more Not all embedded content is displayed here. That was a really great interview/Conversation. It was cool that They shed some light on James getting burnt out and everything and that the friend door is still open. Also, it reminded me of the hype of all the new songs coming out earlier this year and the end of last year and then when the album finally dropped, nobody really talked about it or cared it felt like. I’ve never listened to it myself because I didn’t really like anything they were putting out, but I didn’t really hear anybody talking about it since. I guess it was a long time to put that article together since it was done in January. All in all, I will always have major nostalgia for underoath And I’m glad I went to the 20th anniversary tour for TOCS even if it got boring and monotonous for them haha!
