DGD will play either 8 or 9 songs. They cap at 12 or 13 on headliners too because Jon can't scream more than an hour each night.
I knew I wouldn’t get them, but I had dreams for “People You Knew”, and “Back to the Future PT 2”. Still was a good set from DGD. All songs from the last 2 albums, a one off single, and the new album. Nothing from either DBM or Deathstar or even Acceptance Speech. They closed with one I wasn't familiar with. Must have been from Mothership as I didn’t give that one too many listens, but enjoyed it. Undetoath was bang on as expected. No real curveballs though. “It Has To Start Somewhere” wasn’t really expected from me and that was cool. My wish materialized with them playing “No Frame”, but I mostly expected it. My pie in the sky hope was for “The Created Void”; but I know better.....
friend found a pic of a printed out setlist On my teeth in regards to myself blue note dangerous business rapture a moment suspended in time breathing in a new mentality it has to start somewhere no frame reinventing your exit paper lung a boy brushed red bloodlust in division writing on the walls
My thoughts exactly. Maybe they're waiting for their bigger A market tour to bust out the "bigger" songs off erase me like "in motion", "hold your breath", and "ihateit"?
and hasn't "ihateit" been a part of a lot of their shows leading up to this tour? i think they said they've got four from each album for this tour, so maybe this setlist got cut short since none of these reach that or they're rotating.
They've overcorrected from playing Reinventing Your Exit never, to playing it every show. Disappointing setlist.
DGD Setlist -Betrayed By The Game -Frozen One -Chucky Vs. The Giant Tortoise -Carl Barker -Summertime Gladness -Midnight Crusade -We Own The Night -Inspire The Liars -Man Of The Year
Seeing man of the year on this tour would almost make up for not getting a close date of the full album tour. Hoping they keep it on the setlist for iowa.
Anyone think DGD could swap out Carl Barker or Frozen One with Son Of Robot when it's released tomorrow?
I listened to that Limbs album today. I thought it was pretty good. Reminded me a bit of The Bled. I could hear some ETID influences as well.
