with the massive critical reevaluation emo and emo adjacent music have undergone I think right now is the perfect time for them to come back and receive the credit they always deserved but never really got
I discovered this band in the Warped era. First saw them in '06. Fell in love with Aaron's singing and how it contrasted with Spencer's screaming. Then Disambiguation came out and it became my favorite UO album. Then I saw them live after Aaron split and hearing Spencer sing all of Aaron's parts really changed me tbh. Spencer > Aaron and I really hope we don't get a lot of Aaron on this one. As much as i still love those early albums for nostalgia sake, hearing Aaron makes me cringe a bit.
love the artwork love the sample. Absolutely ready for this. Hoping for elements of both LITSOS and Disambiguation with maybe some new dark direction? The only way I'll be disappointed is if they regress to their TOCS sound which I don't see happening.
i would also be down for an album like who will guard the guardians and a divine eradication, by far their two heaviest songs
Hell the LITSOS sound with more industrial and electronic stuff going on would be absolutely incredible. I think they have that in them for sure.
Yep, Goose is great but DD is one of those drummers that you can just tell what he's playing on by his style
he elevated both disambiguation and low teens to heights i dont think they would have reached without him.
I’m going to listen to Disambiguation for the first time tonight. So far the only songs I’ve ever heard completely are Paper Lung and In Division
