Yea, big difference in disliking something and going to the bands fb page to tell them that you dislike it.
There was a comment a few weeks ago where someone said something on their fb and Spencer responded with something like, “well the alternative is we break up again”
He'd probably be better off not responding but people act like such pricks online; as if a band they previously liked releasing a song that they don't like is somehow a personal affront to them as an individual. I don't know what those people are hoping to achieve from their open lack of respect - a few thumbs up I guess.
I'm of the exact opposite opinion in that except for like 2 songs (Alarming Sound and Is This Real) I thought the album was super mediocre.
Something internal would have to happen for the band to not make any more music after Erase Me. The members have stated that the musicianship is healthy and as long as they are okay with the music then they’ll go back to the practice room.
Heck, I look forward to this album fondly. Even for simply Chris Dudley; he appears to be currently at his best, if only judging by two singles and clips available. The keyboard isn't something that has really been a focal point in Underoath the last few records, but it's cool to hear Rapture's chorus carried by a synthesizer.
I'm just saying they commented about it soo.. ya a few they may not.. but these obviously got to them
I like how they’re doing all this special stuff in other cities, but not Tampa.. We got our secret show before the Rebirth tour, but I didn’t get to go.
I don't know how you miss it. Seems like every page or so there are posters getting up in arms about me and others quickly losing interest in this album
Yeah I'm holding out until release day to hear everything. Definitely listening to each of their albums this coming week leading up to it. Looks like preorders are shipping earlier than expected so that's exciting as well.
As someone who is also not entirely optimistic about this record, I don’t see anyone getting up in arms with people who are expressing trepidation. What I do see is a number of people who just pop in to be like “idk people seems like it’s gonna be bad” and a number of people remaining steadfast in their optimism.
Sorry I just thought it was kinda ridiculous with the guy wanting to give away his vinyl pre order from hearing a shitty quality preview, I'm fine with people feeling like this isn't for them. It most definitely won't be for a lot of fans I feel.
