Detective Bane on the case. Really wasn't expecting a second single with this quick lead-up, but I'll take what I can get with this band. Trying to hold off on the "making of" videos as well until I have the full album so I can look back on it and see how it all came together. Also side note, they recorded at some place in Maryland and I'm mad for never running into them at all even if they were just out of my reach (DC-based).
Watching Tired Violence rn and it’s pretty wild to watch it knowing that they’re back. There’s a lot of weight to these interviews and you can tell Spencer never wanted the break to happen.
I’ve been meaning to watch it since it’s release and I just never got around to it; is it still worth it? Spencer’s also said the reunion was brewing even during the making of TV so that adds new perspective lol
Yeah I saw Aaron do that kick drum/acoustic thing last year when he toured with Vinnie Caruana and Ace Enders. Kinda fun to have a percussive element going on but man he stomps that kick with a disturbing amount of force lol. I was standing close to the stage and it felt like my chest was going to explode
aaron and spencer are doing an acoustic thing at an emo night an hour away from here in april that i might go check out
ACOUSTIC performances by: Spencer Chamberlain & Aaron Gillespie of UNDEROATH - Tickets - Chameleon Club - Lancaster, PA - April 13th, 2018
Damn, I’d check that out if I wasn’t going to be in Chicago. The album announcement has really rekindled my love for this band.
My guess since it’s an emo night it’s going to be mostly chasing safety stuff, but that could still be really cool
I think I'm supposed to say it honks, wait is that good or bad? Slaps? I am not up with the lingo. The electronic elements are very cool. It's more mainstream than people are expecting. "Rapture" is radio rock ready.
"On My Teeth" reminds me of listening to TOCS driving around the neighborhood with the volume blowing out my speakers.
Are there parallels in sound with the last BMTH record? They have talked a lot about it in the rollout for Erase Me.
Honestly, I really like On My Teeth for what it is, so if the rest of the album is pretty much in that vein then I’m down. It’s nice to know what to expect, if I go in thinking most of it will be heavy as hell then I might be disappointed, but if I’m expecting a more radio-friendly album I’ll likely be pleased.
I didn't listen to that one. It's sitting in my inbox, I should was planning to listen to it on Apple Music tonight.
